Kevin Sinfield MBE spent 19 seasons with the Leeds Rhinos playing an outstanding 521 career games for club.

Kevin has been the most successful rugby league player in the history of the game, He holds the record for most grand final wins as captain after lifting the super league trophy on 7 different occasions. He has also won 3 world club challenges, 3 league leaders shields and 2 challenge cups.

Kevin is the Leeds Rhinos most successful points scorer in the clubs history after scoring 86 tries, 1792 goals and 39 drop goals equals a staggering 3967 career points. He also hold the record for the most Super League appearances. Kevin was very much a team player but when you look at his personal achievement you are left amazed.

Kevin also had a very successful international career representing Great Britain on 15 occasions and also playing for England 29 times becomes England’s highest every points scorer and also became England’s captain.

Jamie Peacock MBE is considered to be one of the best players of his generation having won every honour in Rugby League. A player with a big engine.

Jamie is well known for having an extremely successful career after making his super league debut in 1999 for Bradford Bulls, going on to make 207 appearance for the club winning 3 super league trophies, 2 challenge cups, 2 world club challenges and 3 league leaders shields and in 2003 he won the man of steal for an outstanding season with the bulls. After spending 7 years with the Bradford club Jamie always had ambitions to play for his home town club and in 2006 he signed for the Leeds Rhinos where he became the clubs captain going on to win 6 super league trophies, 2 challenge cups, 2 world club challenges and 2 league leaders shields. JP was also named in the super league dream team on 11 occasions throughout an outstanding career. After being recognised at an early an age as being a dominant force with in super league Jamie went on to make 21 appearances for England and 26 appearances for Great Britain. Jamie was recognised in the New Years Honours List and was awarded a MBE for his services to the game which he dominated for over 17years.

Iestyn Harris is the Wales National Rugby League team’s head coach. A former dual rugby code international player.

Iestyn Harris professional career began as a 17 year old for the Warrington wolves before joining the Leeds Rhinos for a record breaking fee in 1997. He went to win the man of steel award in 1998 for his fantastic performances then a year later going on to win the Challenge cup final in 1999 and also being awarded the Lance Todd Trophy. After spending 4 years with the super league club Harris made a big money move to Rugby Union signing for the Cardiff Blues and playing just 200 minutes of Union he was called up to the Welsh national team and went on to play in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Iestyn made it clear he wanted to return to Rugby League signing for the Bradford Bull in 2004 yet again more success winning all major trophies on offer before he played his final year of rugby in 2009 with the Featherstone Rovers.

He was named coach of the Wales national rugby league team toward the end of the 2009 season after finishing his playing career, then move onto Crusaders as assistant coach. In 2011 he then became an assistant coach at the Wigan Warriors and after 3 year with the club moved to the Salford Red Devils as the Head coach.

Iestyn Harris has an extremely successful playing career in both codes of the game. Iestyn brings something different with the experience he was gained over the years being such a dominant rugby player.

Garry Schofield is an ex Rugby League Star of the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Mainly playing in English RL he also had a stint down under with Balmain Tigers and was

inducted into the Wests Tigers hall of fame in 2012.

Highly regarded as one THE best of his generation his Personal accolades include Golden Boot winner 1990, Man of Steel 1991, OBE 1994.

Danny McGuire is a one club man who is still playing and has now been give the captaincy for his home town club Leeds Rhinos. Danny is well known within rugby league for his prolific try scoring ability racking up over 1000 career points for the club and is currently the highest try scorer in the super league history scoring over 250 tries.

Danny has been hugely successful with the Leeds club after winning the super league trophy on 7 occasions, 3 world club challenges, 3 league leaders shield and 2 challenge cups winning every major trophy available. Danny McGuire also went on to represent England with 10 appearances and also played for Great Britain Make 12 appearances scoring 5 tries.

It’s easy to see that Danny McGuire has had an explosive career showing that he is a try scoring machine with fantastic career to stats.

Andy Gregory is known for being one of the greatest Rugby League players of all time, Starting his career playing for Widnes in the 1980-1984 season towards the back end of the famous “Cup Kings” era. Andy became a Regular in his debut season with Widnes. In his first year with the club they reached Wembley winning his first Challenge Cup with victory over Hull Kingston Rovers.

In the 1984-85 season Gregory moved to Warrington where he won the Premiership Trophy Final in his short stint with the club.

In 1986 Andy finally got the chance to sign for his home town club Wigan for a reported then world record fee, Gregory had a very successful time with the club winning 2 World Club Challenge, 5 Challenge Cups (First ever player to do so), 4 Championships, Lancashire cup and a Premiership. Andy was honoured into Wigan Warriors Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements with the club.

In 1992 Andy moved to Leeds where he struggled with injuries and traveling so after just 2 season with the Yorkshire club he was transferred to Salford where he played a season with the club and in 1995 on a player/coach role which saw him call time on his brilliant professional career.

Andy was also a Great Britain international playing 26 times for country. Gregory is the only player to play in 6 ashes series against Australia. He was one of the most watched players on the international stage with his flair and talent was near enough unstoppable on his day.

John Gwynne is a highly regarded Manchester-based sports commentator. He is a former school teacher who gave up that profession after 20 years in the classroom to concentrate on a career in the media.

His darts commentaries during two decades, sitting alongside the late Sid Waddell, are legendary, while his contributions to Sky’s football coverage since 1997 have led to him being dubbed by host Jeff Stelling as ‘The Spirit of Soccer Saturday’.

Indeed, he was the cricket correspondent for the BBC in the north west between 1988 and 2002, covering all Lancashire games, home and away, including seven Lord’s finals.

A former rugby league prop-forward for Leeds Rhinos where he stayed involved for 20 years as Player, Coach, Head of Player Welfare after a successful stint as Head of Youth Development.

Barrie played in 12 finals including Grand Finals Challenge Cup Finals, Regal Trophy Finals and a World Club Challenge. He was the first player in Rhinos History to win League Leaders, Challenge Cup, World Club Challenge and the Super League honours. Barrie played 283 games for Leeds scoring 40 tries including 1 hat-trick.

A Great Britain international with 18 caps Barrie went on to represent Ireland at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup and went on to e arn 15 caps over the years as well as being on the coaching staff for the 2008 World Cup.

With a glittering Rugby League care er, playing over 400 games in 16 years for Oldham, Wigan, Leeds and Widnes scoring 56 tries in total – winning every domestic honor.
